  1. Years ago when I did Body for Life, I lost a boat load of weight by jogging
early in the morning, starting with 1/2 a mile and worked my way up to five
miles a day on an empty stomach. When I got home I waited one hour and ate
a light breakfast and then hit the gym. After the gym I would drink a
supplement shake. Within 3 months I was in the best shape of my life, even
better than I was in the Marines. (yeah I’m that old). I kept the weight
off for years but now I’m trying to do it again. This time I’m eating
before working out. It’s been over 6 months and I have not got to my goal
weight and size. So why am I not losing. Listening to wrong advice. But I
have gone back to my old ways and have seen more weight loss.

  2. I disagree. You are more likely to see weight loss but its water and
muscle. I am curious if you posted people’s results who followed this
advice after watching this video. The results must be using same body fat
measurement device (per person) and measured at first thing in the morning
after toilet (minimising variables). There is nothing called as muscle
memory in reality in the human Muscular-skeleton system. Established motor
nerve pathways over time and its translation into subconscious, yes.

  3. I’ve read a lot recently that running is very overrated for fat loss. Im
not near a gym so the trail just down the road is all I’ve got for early
morning cardio, that and my battle rope when the weather gets better. Any
thoughts on running versus biking or “cardio” routines? In the Army we all
ran fist thing in the AM and most of us were pretty lean, however fat
people could still be found within our ranks.

  4. Can i drink a green te before to increment the level of fat that i loose or
it makes that status not useful????

  5. Hey Aaron, how do I know if my heart rate is within those ranges? Is there
a device I can purchase that lets me know what my heart rate is? If so, can
you tell me where I can purchase this device?

  6. So how soon after your morning cardio workout should you eat and drink, and
what should you be be eating ?

  7. I did this for 3 months last June1-Sept1 and lost 20lbs. Went from 193lbs
to 173lbs. When I posted what I was doing on FB, I got some people saying
crazy shit like I was “losing muscle,” blah, blah, but my max bench and
strength was increasing. I also combined it with a low carb diet of mostly
meat and vegetables. I did 1 hour walks around the block with some
caffeine. I worked my way up from 20 min to 60 min. Do not try running hard
or doing high intensity, just steady state. You lose fat (stored glucose)
when your pancreas is producing glucagon… you’re catabolic basically
while fasted. Hope this helps people. Can’t wait for this weather to get
better so I can continue my walks! I’m currently 174lbs 6ft making gains
    lifting.

  8. Thanks for the excellent video. You are spot on. I’d like to add that food
wise, you are better of INCREASING fat intake from QUALITY sources and
reducing carbs drastically. Why, because fat burns slowly. This means that
the body cannot convert it quickly into body fat. I personally make sure to
provide the bulk of my calorie intake from local, extremely high quality
meat. Sure, its expensive, but if you get to know some of your local small
scale farmers, they will give you fat to render, bones for bone broths, and
organ meats for next to nothing.

Its about time for the whole low fat marketing campaign to end.
